International Growth Manager – Nordics
- Hybrid
- München, Bayern, Germany
- Commercial
Job description
Wellster is Europe’s leading HealthTech platform and is at the forefront of one of the most dynamic developments in healthcare: the Direct-to-Patient revolution.
We are looking for an International Growth Manager to build and scale our Nordic presence, with an initial focus on Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. You will spearhead the international expansion of our flagship brand, GoLighter, within the fast-growing GLP-1 weight-management market.
This is not a purely strategic role. You will take ownership of market entry, launch execution, and commercial growth across the Nordics. Working closely with Product, Operations, Marketing, Medical, and Legal teams, you will turn market insights into scalable, successful country launches.
At Wellster, we value intellectual curiosity, grit, and a bias for action. While a strong academic foundation is important, we prioritize your ability to deliver results, navigate ambiguity, and think like an entrepreneur in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Your tasks would be...
Build and execute the market-entry strategy for Sweden, Denmark, and Finland
Conduct deep-dive market assessments covering regulatory requirements, competitive positioning, patient needs, and local healthcare infrastructure
Develop and continuously refine a repeatable Country Launch Playbook covering localization, legal compliance, operational readiness, and local supply-chain integration
Own the commercial strategy and business case for each market, including pricing, reimbursement potential, unit economics, and key growth levers
Coordinate cross-functional launch activities across Product, Operations, Marketing, Medical, and Legal
Identify and establish strategic partnerships that support market access, brand growth, and long-term commercial success
Monitor and optimize post-launch performance, with a focus on metrics such as LTV, CAC, conversion, retention, and contribution margin
Lead strategic growth initiatives, including testing new business models, channels, and partnership opportunities across the Nordic region
Job requirements
You will fit well, when you …
Bring at least three years of experience in strategy consulting, venture development, international expansion, or strategic growth
Have a proven track record of launching or scaling businesses in new markets, ideally within the Nordic region
Understand the commercial, cultural, and regulatory dynamics of Sweden, Denmark, and Finland
Think in systems and frameworks, creating scalable playbooks rather than one-off solutions
Possess strong analytical skills and can model unit economics, evaluate business cases, and translate data into clear strategic recommendations
Operate with commercial maturity and a growth-owner mindset, balancing speed, quality, and sustainable performance
Thrive in ambiguous environments and demonstrate an entrepreneurial ability to deliver results without an established manual
Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and effectively align cross-functional teams
Are fluent in English and Swedish or Danish; Finnish and German language skills are a strong advantage
Hold a strong academic degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
